  • The recipient's Bitcoin address starts with bc1, 1, or 3
  • Enough for the network fee typically $0.50–$5 CAD

Step-by-Step: How to Transfer Bitcoin

From a mobile wallet, e.g., Blue Wallet:

  1. Open your wallet
  2. Tap "Send"
  3. Enter the recipient's Bitcoin address or scan their QR code
  4. Enter the amount in Bitcoin or CAD
  5. Review the network fee
  6. Confirm and send

From 1Bitcoin.ca to your own wallet:

  1. Log into your 1Bitcoin.ca account
  2. Go to "Withdraw" or "Send"
  3. Enter your own wallet address
  4. Confirm the withdrawal
